Adrià Puntí serà un dels plats forts del cicle 'Born de cançons'

Song cycle at Born CCM

From October to December the culture centre will host performances by Gemma Humet, Adrià Puntí, Eduard Iniesta and Pep Sala, among others

Everything is prepared for the start of  Born de cançons, a music cycle that focuses on Catalan singer-songwriters, with the odd incursion into the fields of jazz, and which is scheduled to take place this autumn at Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria.

This year’s programme features a blend of hallowed names, including Adrià Puntí (14 October), Eduard Iniesta (4 November) and Pep Sala (2 December), and younger, less well known names like Víctor Nin (5 November), Joan Rovira (18 November), proclaimed revelation of the year at the Premis Enderrock 2016, and the quintet from Vic Est Oest (28 October), who were the winners of last year’s Sona9. Singer-songwriter Gemma Humet is scheduled to break the ice on 7 October on what will be the last date on her tour promoting her first album Si canto enrera. The cycle is set to end on Saturday 3 December with the minimalist music of Max Villavecdhia.

All of these concerts also feature a wine pairing of a DOC Catalunya wine to help attendees get into the spirit of the cycle.
