Sonar + D: open call for the Start-Up Competition 2015
The International Congress of creativity and technology, Sonar + D, opens call for the second edition of Start-Up Competition with the aim of discovering the 10 global companies more prepared to reconfigure the creative industries sector.
Sonar + D is an international conference that brings together a set of activities with a common idea: the relationship between creativity and technology and the digital transformation of cultural industries. It is celebrated in Barcelona, at Fira de Montjuïc from June 18 - 20, parallel to Sónar by Day and brings together experts from around the world (technologists, entrepreneurs, artists, companies and researchers) to present and project initiatives and tools that will shape future creative experiences in music, image, interactive content and transmedia platforms.
Sonar + D has open call for entrepreneurs who want to participate in the Start-Up Competition until May 14, with the aim of finding the start-ups from around the world working in technology, with ambition and international projection. A jury of international investors and experts will select the top 10 start-ups to present their projects at Sonar + D.
One day before the festival starting, June 17, there will be a training day for start-ups. All the start-ups, selected to participate in competition or not, can enjoy a coaching day with experts in:
- How to get media attention and explain the project in the best way possible to the media.
- Costumer Validation: participants may validate interest generated by your product or services and collect feedback to adjust or improve your product or service based on actual market needs.
- How to get funding to carry out the project.
