For the tenth year running the Espai Dansat! section of the Sant Andreu Teatre (SAT) has organised the dance festival, DANSAT! On this occasion, in celebration of their tenth anniversary, the programme will include dance productions for all tastes and from all over Spain.

In Return, Chevi Muraday, a dancer with the Madrid company, Losdedae, and actress Marta Etura, examine the relationships between couples and their frustrations in a piece directed by David Picazo which can be seen on the 23rd of April. On the following day, students from the dance school Escola d’Ensenyament Secundari i Artístic del Conservatori Professional de Dansa will present their pieces during a performance lasting one hour.

On the 25th, the Basque theatre company Tanttaka/Kukai will present a staged representation of the works of poet Joseba Sarrionandia. Scripted and directed by Mireia Gabilondo and accompanied by the voices of several well-known characters from Basque culture, seven dancers will interpret Hnuy Illa, an inspiring representation of the principal themes explored by the poet. On the 26th, Guillermo Weickert will present a solo piece entitled Material inflamable in which he explores the vocabulary and language of dance.

Finally, on Sunday the 27th, the Companyia Nats will present their family-oriented production entitled Minimón, winner of the Best Performance Award at the European Theatre Fair for Children (FETEN) in 2012. In the piece, Lúa emerges from the wardrobe into a fantasy world left behind when the children leave the room and uses her findings to create her own fantasy world full of fun and magic.
