Saló del Comic: Barcelona Comic Fair 2016
Comic fans have a date at Fira Barcelona Montjuïc from the 5th to the 8th of May
Barcelona’s Saló del Còmic is one of the most important events in the city’s year. The fair, which is scheduled to begin on Thursday the 5th of May at Fira Barcelona Montjuïc, will once again be packed with exhibitions, workshops, authors signing their work, talks, video games, with special attention paid to cars and motorbikes in this year’s edition. Frank Miller will be the star speaker, appearing in the Palau de Congressos building at 7pm on the 7th of May, while the list of other international guests includes Alberto Ponticelli, Doug Braithwaite, Koren Shadmi, Mic Graves and Sole Otero. Visitors to the fair will also have the opportunity to see a replica of Moon Tug, the cannablised vehicle that will play a crucial role in the upcoming film Independence Day: Resurgence, the sequel to the iconic Independence Day.
