La Sagrada Família

The Sagrada Família to host a light show representation of the Passion

The narrative will be projected on the building’s façade for three consecutive days over Easter

The story of the passion, the arrest, trial, crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, lies at the heart of the Easter festival. And the Sagrada Família will be offering visitors the chance to get to know this story through a light show that uses the building itself as a screen.

This light show representation of the Passion will take place in three sessions, all from 8pm to 10pm, on 10, 11 and 12 April. The three sessions scheduled for each of those days last approximately 12 minutes. The space prepared for the public in front of the temple’s façade has space for 200 people.

Registration is not required and the activity is free of charge. Since places are limited it’s a good idea to arrive at the Sagrada Familia with plenty of time to spare. Additional information is available from the Churches of Barcelona website.
