Rueda Film Festival

Cycling in the cinema at the Rueda Film Festival

The festival is back with more films than ever.

This year celebrating its 4th annual edition, the Rueda Film Festival has consolidated a place for itself on Barcelona’s film scene as the city’s first competitive festival on the figure of the bicycle in film and is, indeed, the most popular festival of its kind in southern Europe. Over the four days of the festival, which runs from 13 to 16 September, Cinemes Zumzeig will host the screening of films in a variety of genres, including titles like 'The Frenchy', 'Turbo Kid', 'Time Trial' and 'The Bikes of Wrath'.

As well as the official competitive section, other attractions of the festival include Rueda Kids with films for children and late-night sessions featuring cult movies and forgotten gems based on the theme of bicycles and cycling.

Single tickets cost €6, though you can buy a 6-film block ticket for €30. Additional information is available at the following link.
