In addition, Propozapp, Upper Social, Hey Moth and Common Locals were awarded for using the FI-ware technology for the FI Content 2 and the app Kolobee will be at the final of the Barcelona Smart City Apps Hack
The Design Hub hosted this tuesday the presentation of the projects and the awards ceremony of the third edition of the Apps&Cultura, a contest of ideas for apps for any device (computers, tablets or smartphones), that facilitate and/or encourage the access of citizens to culture, or that helps creative and cultural professionals in strengthening and further developing their business. The competition winners this year were Red Clash and Common Locals. Red Clash is a management and marketing agency that is developing a mobile app designed for artists to accelerate and redirect their projects, managing their promotion and career. Meanwhile, Common Locals is an application that connects travelers with local people to help planning their trip. Both projects were awarded 9,000 euros for the developing the application, and they’ll also enjoy training and residency during three months.
The jury (formed by Inés Garriga, Director of Creativity and Innovation at ICUB, Simon Lee, Marisol Lopez, Victor Jiménez and Alexis Culibert) also awarded Propozapp, Upper, Hey Mooth and Common Locals, that took the four awards for using FI-ware technology for the FIN Content 2. Propozapp helps connect local artists with a new audience, providing customized and intelligent suggestions to the end-user. Meanwhile, Social Upper is an application that helps you discover leisure activities around you, while Hey Moth! is an app that recommends you local events and shows according to your music taste. Finally, the last winner was Kolobee.com, an app that will be ath the final of the Barcelona Smart City Apps Hack. This app allows you to rediscover your city through history. It helps you discover stories, anecdotes and best kept secrets of the city while walking.
