Píndoles, an off-theatre drama festival

Casa Lleó i Morera will host the festival from 7 to 28 July

Small format plays performed in a space that is not a theatre. That is the basic concept behind the Píndoles Festival, an initiative which got off to a great start last year and which will take place every Thursday in July at Casa Lleó i Morera.

This is a new experience for the spectator, but also for the actors, who will be performing right next to a small audience, completely shattering the so-called fourth wall. Every session will consist of three consecutive works, on diverse themes, and admission also includes a glass of cava to provide refreshment on hot July evenings. The festival features a total of 12 works that range from the story of two people whose meeting in the bathroom of a gas station completely changes their lives to that of a luthier who takes on a young man with the aim of exterminating the termites that are threatening his instruments.

There are two sessions every Thursday, at 8pm and 9.30pm.
