El CaixaForum viurà la seva nit més xinesa el dia 10 d'agost

A parade with figures of a dragon, lions and drums around CaixaForum

“China Night” will take place on 10 August

At the exhibition Ming L'imperi daurat at CaixaForum you can find around a hundred objects from the impressive Nanjing Museum that range from pottery to jewels. As is usual at this museum, the exhibition is accompanied by a large number of parallel activities, and one of the most spectacular is scheduled to take place on 10 August with China Night, featuring a parade with a giant dragon, which is a symbol of good fortune, and lions and drummers, which will wind its way around the streets surrounding the museum. This activity is open to all but places are limited.

China Night will be complemented by three additional activities: a workshop on Chinese calligraphy, showcooking featuring typical dishes, a tea ceremony and a concert with classical and contemporary Chinese music by the Silk String Quartet. To attend any of these events, you should pre-buy a ticket costing €4.
