Paco Ibanez and Richard Hawley, the protagonists of November at the Festival Mil·leni

The Valencian musician offers its last concert of the "Vivencias" tour in Barcelona on November 18, just a day after the singer from Sheffield, in a series of concerts that entrains an end of year full of big names in music

It's been a year since Vivencias tour began to mark the 80th birthday of Paco Ibañez, and the 50th anniversary of the publication of the first album of the artist, dedicated to Garcia Lorca and Gongora, and illustrated by Salvador Dalí.

This November Festival Mil·lenni brings the last Vivencias concert, after an extensive tour that has led Ibáñez to various European and Latin American cities, and scenarios as emblematic as the Théâtre des Champs-Elysees in Paris.

Paco Ibáñez is the voice of the poets, a humanist and a committed artist, who has come with his songs to the depths of the soul of generations around the world. So the meeting with the singer, on November 18 at the Palau de la Música, becomes essential.

The prestigious concert series hosts the day before the recital by Ibáñez the romantic crooner Richard Hawley, who acts at the Apolo with Carmen Boza as guest artist. This singer, guitarist and producer originally from Sheffield, known for his tenure in the band Pulp, shows his class in a long career as a soloist, with songs like Ocean, that deserve him comparisons to great singers like Roy Orbison. In the Festival Mil·lenni, the artist will display the pop romanticism of his latest work, Hollow Meadows.

And that's not all. For the next month, the Festival Mil·lenni reserves a spectacular end of year of concerts, featuring the unique Micah P. Hinson (December 3, Sala Apolo), Nicola Di Bari (December 9, L 'Auditori), the two dates of Raphael at the Gran Teatre del Liceu (21 and 22 December), Joan Dausà doublet (27 and 28 December, Palau de la Música) and the tribute to The Chieftains played by Carlos Núñez with the legendary Paddy Moloney as special guest (December 30, Palau de la Música).
