Orgànic: a festival for discovering wellness

A two-day festival on healthy eating, taking care of your body and mind and all things related to the concept of wellness

Let’s imagines for a moment that you do one or more of the following things: you practise sport on a regular basis and take care of what you eat; you like to lead a healthy life and complement physical exercise with activities like yoga that help you to find a balance between mind and body. If all of that rings a bell with you then you may well be interested in the Orgànic Festival, which is celebrating its second edition this year on 27 and 28 May at Barcelona’s Maritime Museum with a comprehensive programme of conferences, workshops and classes on yoga and cooking for small groups. que aquest any arriba a la seva segona edició i es celebrarà durant dos dies, del 27 al 28 de maig, al Museu Marítim de Barcelona.

This year’s edition is more ambitious than ever, with longer opening times and a wider range of activities. The events are split into three main areas. The first is Terra Veritas, a gastronomy zone in which specialists in nutrition, cooking with natural ingredients and healthy baking like Mireia Anglada, Mónica Suárez, Frolis and Mareva Gillioz will lead workshops and demonstrations. The second area is Espai Auditorio and Cornertalk – a space for conferences, debates round table discussions and talks on dietetics, breathing, fastings and zen philosophy, also led by experts in the field. The festival’s third area is a space for yoga and movement where you can explore different modalities of yoga and alternative forms of exercise.
