'The Oil Crash'

Do you know about the current dependence on fossil fuels? Do you know the limitations of renewable energy? What is the role of the media in the change of the energy model?

Antonio Turiel tells us that we can not continue to grow as usual because we have no resources. The crisis will not end if we do not change our financial and productive model. We have reached the end of growth. Future prospects are that oil production from existing fields will decline by 40% by 2020 and will be almost impossible to compensate for this decline, especially since it is estimated that by 2018 China and India will absorb all oil production if they continue their Current consumption pattern.

Ferran Puig alerts us that humanity is facing one of the biggest imaginable dilemmas. The Earth's climate system seems to have been permanently destabilized, while the vast majority of the population ignores a phenomenon that will defenetly change our life. The scientific community, the media and the political class are stunned by this phenomenon and do not give any solution to the scale of the challenge presented to them. When elites fail, it's time for people.
