OFFF, the most important event on digital creation, is installed in Disseny Hub Barcelona with a programme enough to take your breath away

OFFF International Festival of Culture and Digital Design takes place on May 15th, 16th and 17th with about 70 lectures by the most influential artists of the world to present trends that will change digital culture in the short term.

This 2014 edition is counting on major national and international artists such as Vincent Morrisset author of “Just a Reaflektor” a technological – audiovisual experiment in collaboration with Google Chrome made to present the interactive video for “Feflektor” by the pop group Arcade Fire.  Also participating is Caroline Robert, one of the best known creator of album covers of recent times and Casey Neistat, creator, producer and director of a major collection of popular videos on Youtube. This year’s OFFF will also announce who is behind the creation of credits on movies such as “Oblivion” and “Iron Man”, as well as reveal the key to creative processes behind MTV graphics.

OFFF wants to encourage creativity in our country by bringing together studios, agencies and national artists like Crowd, Vicente Morillo, Herraizsoto&Co among others.

A wide range of special events will be held simultaneously at the festival including lectures, performances, exhibitions, entertainment (motion graphics, microfilms, title sequences), interactive installations, collectives and artists, social areas / networking chill-out, themed parties and much more. The festival is divided into seven main sections: Roots, Openroom (new talent staged), Workshops, Showplace, Cinexin, OFFF Market and Chillax.

OFFF is the International Festival of Digital Art and Culture that feeds the future of sectors that thrive on creativity. Officially based in Barcelona and after travelling to different cities on a world tour under the name OFFF on Tour, it finally returns on the 15th, 16th and 17th May to the Disseny Hub Barcelona.  It began in 2000 with a meeting of artists and lovers of digital culture to find synergies and discover what counterparts in the profession are doing. Today it is the international showcase of the latest technological advances in the field of design, advertising, film, television and editorial art. With 14 years of extensive experience, the format of the festival retains its pure essence: a careful and extensive programme of lectures by the most influential artists in the world. These types of get-togethers tend to base the content of the lectures on the presentation of projects that have echoed. Unlike other events, the speakers participating in the OFFF make a dash for work to put a real emphasis on the creative process.
