“#Nomireu”, a new series in the Nollegiu bookshop

One Thursday a month, beginning on the 15th of January, teams of experts will analyse the phenomenon of some of the most popular television series in recent years

On the 15th of January the Nollegiu bookshop will initiate a new series entitled #NoMireu (#DontLook), dedicated to recent television series. The series will consist of six meetings in the bookshop during which two experts in television culture will speak about five selected television series: Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Sopranos, True Detective and The Wire. All the invited speakers have academic experience in the field of television-oriented creativity and will comment on diverse aspects of each of the selected series beginning with their conception and including their context, production aspects, the actors and the teleplays themselves.
The series will begin on Thursday the 15th of January at 7.30 pm with an introductory session presented by Jordi Carrion, author of the book Teleshakespeare, published by Errata Naturae. The remainder of the sessions, which will run up until June, will be based around the content of the corresponding monographic book recently published by Errata Naturae and dealing with the series in question. Each session is priced at 10€, with the option of a six-session coupon for 50€. The ticket price includes a discount on the purchase of the corresponding Errata Naturae book for participants in the series.
