Nights of science and fiction at CosmoCaixa

CosmoNits features a concert and a film screening every Thursday from 7 July to 4 August

Coinciding with a new exhibition titled The Cradle of Humanity, this summer the CosmoCaixa Science Museum is presenting the cycle CosmoNits, combining science fiction films and live music in Plaça de la Ciència. The basic format is the same every Thursday evening: first, at 9pm, there will be a concert featuring jazz, Brazilian music or swing. When the concert is over, an hour later, there will be the screening of one of the classic science fiction film including Quest for Fire by Jean-Jacques Anaud on 7 July and 2001: A Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick on 14 July. The other films in the cycle are Eva (21 July), Her (28 July) and Interstellar (4 August).

Tickets, which cost €3 for Caixabank customers and €6 for non-customers, also give admission to the museum and the temporary exhibition. For these Thursday sessions, a shuttle bus will run between the museum and Plaça de Catalunya once the activity has finished.
