A new Hamlet in Sala Atrium

This production of the classic tragedy by Shakespeare can be seen from December 22 to January 17, in performances in Catalan and Spanish

The myth of Hamlet, the powerful tragedy about the Prince of Denmark that William Shakespeare wrote between the late sixteenth century and the early seventeenth century, it has accompanied many generations and has taken countless versions throughout history.

This tragedy has become an icon not only for literature, but for Western society, because their lines explored a lot of enigmas of the human being, like love, betrayal, art, politics, envy, family, the monarchy, gender roles, war, moral corruption and the hereafter, among others. Ethics and tradition are put to trial against the plots of power, in a play that trascemds over time.

This review of the Shakespeare play which opens now in Sala Atriumrun by Marc Chornet and Raimon Molins, and with musical direction by Atrium Ensemble, converts the text on a great show, with success in the scenic sobriety and modern elements such as costumes, atrezzo and music. In addition, the play will be performed in Catalan from December 22 to January 3, and in Spanish from 7 to 17 January.
