A scene from 'Rouge, Fantastic Love, featuring Gisela

Teatre Apolo will take you to the Paris of the 'Belle Époque'

From 19 December the theatre will be hosting 'Rouge, Fantastic Love' starring Gisela.

The musical Rouge, Fantastic Love is coming to Teatre Apolo. It’s a stage adaptation of the film Moulin Rouge with artistic direction by Ricard Reguant and musical direction by Pep Sala. On stage will be actress and singer Gisela and actor Toni Viñals. Ferran González, Naïm Thomas, Ferran Castells, Fedor de Pablos and Javier Enguix complete the cast of this Spanish language production for which Jordi Dalmau has designed the costumes while Ana Eva Cruellas is responsible for the choreography. This could undoubtedly be one of the hit musicals of the Christmas season in Barcelona and can be seen from 19 December to 14 January.

Rouge, Fantastic Love is set in the Paris of the Belle Époque. The painter Tolouse Lautrec is the narrator of the story, which tells the story of a young idealistic writer who falls in love with a cabaret actress who, in the end, has to choose between true love and being the star of the show.
