A scene from 'Sota la catifa'

A murder mystery at Sala Versus Glòries

Òscar Molina to direct 'Sota la catifa' by playwrights Jordi Calafí and Alexis Garcia.

Following its successful run at Teatre Gaudí last summer, Sala Versus Glòries will now host performances of the play 'Sota la catifa' (Under the Carpet'. This murder mystery stars four actors - Jordi Cadellans, Ramon Godino, Miquel Sitjar and Raül Tortosa - three of whom play detectives who will have to find out what has happened in a room at a luxurious hotel where a man has been found dying under a carpet as a result of what seems to have been a fight. The three detectives are at the hotel to take part in a congress, but now they will have to resolve a case that will reveal the darkest face in the detective world, and some aspects of a private life that they had swept ...under the carpet.

This comedy thriller, which can be seen until 9 September, was written by Jordi Calafí and Alexis Garcia and will be staged and directed by Òscar Molina. Also noteworthy is the music for the production by the Malacara & Wilson Band.
