Minitea3, a new theatre venue in the Raval district

The new venue on carrer Robador offers small scale performances, a bar, and an exhibition area

A new approach to culture, leisure and entertainment has opened at number 22 of the carrer Robador, in Barcelona. Minitea3 includes 4 small theatres, a restaurant area and an exhibition space.

In the areas dedicated to theatre, four performances of a maximum length of 15 minutes and with a maximum of four actors take place simultaneously, and six representations of the four pieces take place between 8.30 pm and 0.30 am. Space is limited to 15 people in each of the theatres and tickets may be purchased at the bar one hour before the session. The Vintage is an agreeable and welcoming bar and there is an exhibition area for paintings and sculptures, which are also on sale.

Minitea3 has initiated a system for attracting members who will be offered a series of advantages for a corresponding fee. There is also an email address where anyone may feel free to submit scripts providing they comply with the established requirements.

The idea for Minitea3 is based on a philosophy similar to that of short films, where the emphasis is placed on proximity and immediacy with professional actors and original ideas in unique surroundings, allowing the spectators to discover powerful new experiences.
