"Michael Jackson. The Immortal World Tour" lands in Barcelona

Six unique performances of the show produced by Cirque du Soleil can be seen in the Palau Sant Jordi from the 17th to the 21st of April

Released in Montreal in October, 2011, the Michael Jackson. The Immortal World Tour show is a Cirque du Soleil production written and directed by the renowned choreographer Jamie King. Following a year’s tour of North America, the show began its European tour in October 2012 and has already had highly successful runs in a number of cities.

The show was created with the help of 10 top level choreographers, some of whom, like Jamie King, had previously worked directly with Michael Jackson.

The magic of Cirque du Soleil assimilates the artist’s world to create a truly unique vision of his spirit. Sixty four dancers, musicians and acrobats from the world over intervene in a fusion of audio-visual effects, dance, music and the fantasy worlds of both Cirque du Soleil and the artist himself.

Suitable both for fans as well as for those who are new to the artist’s world, Michael Jackson. The Immortal World  transmits the essence and inspiration of both the artist and the person and portrays his love of beauty and the importance of dance as well as magic and fairy tales. The powerful, emotive music of Michael Jackson is revived with passion and intensity in the Palau Sant Jordi through the scintillating performance of Cirque de Soleil.
