Busker RAI

Busker RAI: the Mediterranean Festival of Street Artists

For three days, the squares and streets of La Ribera will be filled with performances to suit all tastes.

In Barcelona there's no shortage of art on the street, but the truth is that there can never be too much. For last two years, Busker RAI has been bringing local and international artists to the city so that we all enjoy what they have to offer. The festival aims to promote urban culture as an expression of interculturalism and coexistence by showcasing the work of young artists from the fields of music, circus and the theatre. The programme is both extensive and varied. On the first day of the festival, Thursday 26 July, things will kick off with a musical parade through the streets of the neighbourhood, and the following days will be full of activities, such as circus performances with Riki Roker, Belly Button, Dj Capuzzi and Charles Performer, and music, theatre and dance with Apuchelando Cia., La Banda Mandanga, Agozao, Pekenio Náhuel and Carrer Candela, among many others.

Busker RAI will take place on the 26th, 27th and 28th of July in the neighbourhood of Sant Pere, Santa Catarina and La Ribera. We recommend that you consult the programme to ensure you don't miss out on any of the action!

All performances are free of charge, but the artists will be passing the hat at the end of each performance. Additional information is available at the following link.
