The singer-songwriter will present his eighth studio album “Sortir per la finestra” on the 23rd of October
Marc Parrot will present his eighth studio recording entitled Sortir per la finestra (Out through the window) on Thursday the 23rd of October in L’Auditori. The album consists of twelve new songs in which the artist revisits the essence of some of his more classic recordings interplayed with somewhat more cryptic though equally meaningful lyrics – a new work of creativity born out of honesty, professionalism and craftsmanship which heralds the artist’s return to the stage, on this occasion accompanied by a three-piece band.
Following his experience with his first band, Regreso a las Minas, with whom he recorded one album in 1990, the singer-songwriter embarked on a solo career, writing and performing his own material as both Marc Parrot and as El Chaval de la Peca, a persona which earned him significant notoriety both in Catalonia and in the rest of the peninsula. In addition, he has made appearances in a number of television shows, has produced over fifty projects of other artists and has been involved on a technical level in more than a hundred recordings.
