Magic Nights at Casa Batlló

Live music on the rooftop of the Gaudí-designed Casa Batlló

The Magic Nights concert cycle offers you an evening visit to this Catalan Modernist building culminating in an exclusive concert.

If you’re interested in the work of Antoni Gaudí and Catalan modernism, one of the places in Barcelona that you really must visit is Casa Batlló. Located on Passeig de Gràcia, near the corner with Carrer Aragó, it is without doubt one of Gaudí’s most emblematic buildings. You can, of course, visit it as a normal tourist or, if you prefer, in a very special way – so special, in fact, you could almost say it was magic. From 14 May to 4 November, the Magic Nights concert cycle at Casa Batlló, will be offering a double activity consisting of a last minute visit to the building, followed by an exclusive concert and a drink in a magical atmosphere on the rooftop.

There’s a daily programme of concerts featuring a selection of artists performing in a variety of styles including Catalan rumba, jazz, pop, soft electronic music, blues and flamenco. This week, for example, we will be able to meet many of the guest artists who will feature in the cycle: Aires de Rumba (Monday 14th), Marga Mbande (Tuesday 15th), Laura Simó & Francesc Capella (Wednesday 16th), Carmen Porcar (Thursday 17th), Raúl Orellana (Friday 18th), Roller Disco Combo (Saturday 19th) and Sergi Vicente, Juan Ruano & Olga Ponce (Sunday 20th).
