Live singer-songwriter performances at BarnaSants in February
Performances by Joan Colomo, Francesc Guccini and Pau Alabajos are the highlights of the month
BarnaSants, the leading singer-songwriter music festival in Catalonia, is set to fill a number of venues in the city with music until its closure on the 14th of April. A variety of performers will be performing on the stages of the diverse venues collaborating with what is one of the country’s most long-standing showcases, which started life at the Cotxeres de Sants civic centre back in 1996.
Among the highlight for February is the appearance of Joan Colomo at Casinet d'Hostafrancs at 9pm on the 20th of February. The singer-songwriter will bring us up to date on the current affairs of the last three years in a unique concert.
Another interesting performance will be the one offered by singer-songwriters Meritxell Gené, Montse Castellà, Sílvia Comes and Ivette Nadal to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Pròleg bookshop in the 12th of February, also at Casinet d'Hostrafracs.
Finally, we should also highlight a concert by the legendary Italian singer Francesco Guccini (on Saturday 13th of February at Centre Artesà Tradicionàrius), and the appearance of singer Pau Alabajos at L'Auditori (27th February) to present his latest album L'amor i la ferocitat.
