Live music on Summer Thursdays on the rooftop terrace of Palau Güell

This is the third edition of a cycle that is scheduled to begin on 7 July with the Pol Prats Quartet and Mayte Alguacil

An evening that’s hard to forget; for the location – the rooftop terrace of the Gaudí-designed Palau Güell, for its great live music, for the magic of an evening in Barcelona, and because before the show there will be a visit to the building built on the commission of the industrialist Eusebi Güell... A mere 50 privileged souls, due to limitations of space, will be able to enjoy these Evenings at Palau Güell, which is celebrating its third edition this years. But you have more than one opportunity to form part of the select few since the cycle is scheduled to begin on 7 July and will run until 18 August. But don’t hang about if you’re interested in getting a ticket.

The bands slated to play are varied, running from jazz with the Prats Quartet & Mayte Alguacil, who will be kicking off things, followed by boogie-woogie and rhythm'n'blues with Wax & Woogie (14 July), "new tango" with Quinteto Dequera! (21 July) and doo wop with The Velvet Candles (28 July). In August, the Amélie Angebault Quartet will offer a performance of swing and French song (4 August), while one week later it will be time for Jamaican jazz with The Oldians. The Pol Prats Quartet will return to Palau Güell to close the cycle on 18 August, this time accompanied by Agustí Burriel, with rhythm'n'blues and rock ballads as the main attractions.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy food and a glass of cava.
