The Kulbik Dance Company presents 'Camins' at saT! Sat Andreu

A reflection on man and the idea of progress.

Focussed mainly on dance, saT!, at Teatre de Sant Andreu, has a regular schedule of movement art performances by some of the most interesting local and international companies of the moment.

In line with this policy, on the 30th of January, the Kulbik Dance Company is presenting its new dance show Camins. Kulbik is no ordinary company: its members hail from different parts of Spain and together they make up a team with its own distinct hallmark, based on the exploration of a diversity of techniques, including gestural language, urban dance fused with hip hop, electronica, blues, jazz, funk and reggae, among others.

Camins, the choreography they are set to present at saT!, is a journey through time and space in which imagination is the protagonist. A metaphorical language provides the basis for a reflection on the human condition and its evolution throughout history. The company questions the path that mankind has taken, wondering whether progress makes us better people or is accelerating our march towards destruction.
