Kosmopolis 19

Ten years of Kosmopolis!

The CCCB celebrates its festival of amplified literature.

Kosmopolis is a biennial literary event that has been held at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona since 2002. The festival’s ethos is something that they call amplified literature, which means that Kosmopolis reaches out beyond the boundaries of literature to involve philosophers, scientists, musicians, cartoonists, writers and journalists, as well as writers and poets. The tenth edition of the festival is focused on stories that move the world, such as the story of quantum physics and the narratives of the feminist revolution. This year’s special guests, who will be collaborating in the K Dialogues section, include Julian Barnes, Lisa Randall, Richard Sennett, Jocelyn Pook, Dave Eggers, Pere Arquillué, David Trueba, Helen Hester, Marina Garcés and Han Kang, among many others.

All of the activities in the festival will take place from 20 to 24 March at different times at Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona.

Ticket prices ranging from €3 to €7 depending on the type of activity are available for purchase at the CCCB ticket offices and at the following link.
