Jazz Evenings at La Pedrera

Jazz on the rooftop terrace at La Pedrera

A new season of Jazz Evenings at La Pedrera Roof Terrace is due to begin on 8 June.

The rooftop terrace at La Pedrera, an iconic building designed by Antoni Gaudí, is a truly magical space. And for some years now it has proven itself to be an excellent place for jazz concerts on summer nights. The initiative has been a great success since the beginning and has now become a classic fixture for summer evenings in Barcelona.  Whether you’re a regular attendee or you’re interested in going for the first time, you should know that this year the cycle is set to begin on 8 June, that the concerts will be on Fridays and Saturdays from 8.15pm and that things will come to an end on 15 September. You should also act quickly to secure a ticket because they’re selling like hot cakes!

The Liceu Big Band will break the ice on the 8 June and will be back on the following evening. The upcoming weeks will see performances by the Pere Bujosa Group, The Bop Collective, the Ernesto Aurignac Quartet, Trempera, the Mariola Membrives Trio and a long list of performers until the closing concert by Shakin 'All. The programme combines talented young people from the city with more consolidated figures.

Buying a ticket gives you much more than the right to listen to good music: Jazz Evenings at La Pedrera begin with a free visit to Espai Gaudí, which is located in the iconic attic space of Casa Milà, together with a refreshing and celebratory glass of cava. And if you want to stick around after the concert, you can also buy a ticket that includes the Gaudí's Pedrera: The Origins experience and attend the projection of a videomapping on the rooftop terrace.
