Kanan & Rossy Quartet faran els seus concerts a La Pedrera els dies 19 i 20 d'agost

The jazz doesn’t stop on the rooftop terrace at La Pedrera

The ‘Summer Nights’ cycle heads into its last weeks with concerts by artists like the Kanan & Rossy Quartet and Xavi Torres Trio

If you would like to experience a summer evening on the rooftop terrace of a magnificent Gaudí designed building like La Pedrera, accompanied by good jazz and a drink, then the Summer Nights cycle is for you. Also included in the ticket price is a free visit to the attic, known as Espai Gaudí, with a visual tour of the great architect’s work.

The cycle started on 17 June and is now nearing its end, though you still have time to catch some interesting performances. Among them are the Xavi Torres Trio, led by a major Catalan jazz musician, on 12 and 13 August; a tribute to George Gershwin by the Kanan & Rossy Quartet, who have collaborated with musicians like Brad Mehldau, Jane Monheim and Wayne Shorter on 19 and 20 August; and the Marc Ferrer Trio, with a special appearance by saxophonist Gianni Gagliardi, on 26 and 27 August. The last concerts in this year’s cycle will feature the Laurent Coulondre Trio (2 and 3 September) and by an ensemble made up of Marco Mezquida, Ernesto Aurignac and Ramon Prats (9 and 10 September).
