‘Your phone is a cop’

Control through technology in 'Your phone is a cop'

Raül Refree and Isaki Lacuesta bring music and film together in this exhibition at Fabra i Coats.

Musician Raül Regree and filmmaker Isaki Lacuesta work well together. They demonstrated that at Refree’s concert at Sónar 2018, for which Lacuesta was commissioned to produce audiovisual contents. They have also collaborated with great success on films and video clips. This creative coupling has now come together again for 'Your phone is a cop', an interactive installation in which users can interpret, recreate, make and undo sounds and images, which aims to be a reflection on the covert control that we are subjected to as a society through social networks and internet.

'Your phone is a cop' can be seen from 18 January to 17 March at the Fabra i Coats Contemporary Art Centre. On opening day, on 17 January, there will be a concert by Raül Refree, accompanied by Isaki Lacuesta’s audiovisuals.

Admission to Fabra i Coats to see the exhibition is free. Additional information is available at the following link.
