Imagine Express awards 4 innovative apps in tourism, health, leisure and social issues
Participating projects were presented at the closing ceremony of Imagine Express on 27th February in Disseny HUB Barcelona
Imagine Express 2014 is a project organized by the Centre of Creativity in San Francisco as part of the Mobile World Congress and the winners have already been selected. The awards went to: Trip4real in the tourism category, Vincles in the social issues category, Physious in health and wiPet in the category of free-choice issues.
Imagine Express is a project of creativity and innovation that organised a 3-day hackathon between Barcelona – Paris – London – Barcelona. From 24th to 27th February, 36 Dreamers (participants) of various previously chosen profiles created and developed mobile applications in multidisiplinary teams of Tourism, Culture, Health and Social Issues.
The winning projects were chosen after two days of intense work in the offices of 4YFN in Barcelona, at the headquarters of Sanofi in Paris, the Royal Festival and the Golden Eye in London. The 36 Dreamers, accompanied by experts from different sectors, were divided in teams of 3 people working to enhance their app ideas.
The 4 winners of the 12 projects on board received a contribution of more than 30,000 euros as well as the help of the best incubators and accelerators in the industry with the aim of facilitating the winning projects in Barcelona and throughout the Spanish state.
