IBStage

Two unique ballet productions at the Liceu

The IBStage programme brings us two gala performances featuring dancers from around the world.

IBStage is a classical dance programme that aims to bring together emerging talents in the field with professional dancers from important European companies and has become the most important dance event of its kind in Europe, drawing people from all over the world to Barcelona to take part, attending lessons and showcasing their talent at the Gran Teatre del Liceu. The general public can also participate in the end by visiting rehearsals and the programme’s facilities during lessons. However, the main events are the gala performances which are designed to show audiences the extraordinary progress the dancers have made, accompanied by the international star Myriam Ould-Braham, the 'Etóile' of the National Opera of Paris, and the Ballet de Catalunya.

The gala performances will take place on 1 and 2 September at the Gran Teatre del Liceu and will consist of 12 different numbers, grouped in two parts with a break between.
