MUHBA is organizing a tour to explain the relationship between the tower and Nou Barris and Barcelona.
The History Museum of Barcelona (MUHBA ) arranges frequent visits and walking tours in Barcelona that contextualize many of the most interesting places and buildings in the city from a historical perspective. An example is 'The Castle of Torre Baró, Nou Barris and Barcelona', which consists of a visit to Torre Baró in Nou Barris in the company of an expert guide. Despite its appearance, this unfinished construction was actually designed as a hotel at the beginning of the 20th century and belonged to the Baron of Pinós. It was acquired and restored by the Collserola Metropolitan Agency who opened it to public visits. It is currently considered to be one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the city due to its privileged position in the Collserola hills.
The visit will take place on 30 September, and the starting point will be stop 3110 for bus 82 on the Alta de les Roquetes road.
The price of the tour is €5 and you can buy the tickets at the following link.
