Gossos present their latest recording in the Teatre Coliseum

The concert on the 10th is part of the Mil·leni festival and represents the return to the stage of the band from Manresa after a break of a year and a half

The eleventh studio recording of Gossos, entitled Batecs, was released on the 22nd of April. This year the band from Manresa will be celebrating two decades together. It was in 1993 when Oriol Farré, Juanjo Muñoz, Natxo Tarrés and Roger Farré first got together to write songs, and shortly after this their debut recording was released, the first step in a solid recording career which has consolidated the band as one of the most successful bands in recent years to sing in Catalan.

Far from showing signs of creative fatigue, Batecs contains sixteen songs that depict an inspired band with a seasoned proposal. A band that continues to offer an optimistic perspective with regard to new projects on both a personal and a social level.

Following a break of eighteen months after the end of the summer of 2011, Gossos now returns to the stage both to present their new recording and to revisit some of the classics that they have accumulated over the course of their career. The upcoming concert in the Teatre Coliseum forms part of the Mil·leni festival and signifies both the beginning of a new phase for the band and the first in a series of concerts throughout Catalan-speaking regions.
