After six editions there's no doubt regarding the privileged place held by the Jardins de Pedralbes Festival in the musical calendar of Barcelona. Once again, the fextival is set to attract plenty of people to its open-air concerts set in the gardens of Palau Reial with an ambitious lineup and practically daily concerts running from 6 June to 13 July. The opening performance will feature an operatic duo made up of Josep Carreras and Ainhoa Arteta, accompanied by the Arts Symphony Ensemble.

This will be followed by performances by Miguel Poveda on 8 June, Simple Minds on 11 June, Mariza on 13 June and a double date by Sara Baras on 14 and 16 June. The following concerts in June will feature big names in popular music like Pastora Soler, Jessie J, Elvis Costello, Tom Jones and Emeli Sandé. And in July the festival will be visited by important names like Goran Bregovic (2 July), Niña Pastori 4 July), Salvador Sobral (5 July) and Fleet Foxes (9 July).
