CaixaForum Barcelona to host the 24th edition of the Zapping Awards
The awards recognise the work of professionals and creators in the field of quality audiovisual entertainment.
We now have a time and place for the gala during which the winners of the 24th edition of the Zapping Awards will be announced. The event is scheduled for 8pm on 6 February at CaixaForum Barcelona, and can be attended by anyone who wishes to do so and books a place, at least until they are sold out. The awards are the most direct public recognition of professionals in the fields of television, the Internet and video games and are organized by the Catalan Audiovisual Media Consumers Association.
The event will unfold as follows: at 8 pm there will be a reception for the nominees and guests and a photo call, followed half an hour later by the beginning of the awards ceremony, with a cocktail-dinner at 10 pm, followed by a party. What makes the Zapping Awards unique is the popular vote of spectators and consumers, which culminates in a list of three finalists – the winner in each category is decided by jury of specialists. The categories in the television section are best series, best actress, best actor, entertainment/quiz programme, best presenter and best culture/news/documentary programme in 2018.
