The fourth edition of the Músiques Sensibles cycle
The cycle is scheduled to take place in the Foyer of the Gran Teatre del Liceu from 27 October to 27 November
Depedro, a group featuring Madrid-based musician Jairo Zavala, is the opening act, on Thursday 27 October, of the 4th edition of Músiques Sensibles, a cycle that creates links between culture and music and social responsibility and commitment. The Foyer of the Gran Teatre del Liceu will play host to theperformances that make up the cycle: Elena Gadel and Alessio Arena (28 October), XY (29 October), Jo Jet and Maria Ribot (29 October), Dolo Beltrán (24 November), Iseo (25 November), Izah (25 November), Joshua Radin (26 November), Joan Queralt (27 November) and El Kanka (27 November).
The cycle is joint initiative by professionals from the field of culture and social activitists, and each performance featuring local and international artists at the Liceu is accompanied by support for non-profit organisations working in diverse fields of social actions. 10% of the money raised by the concerts will go to associations working to improve people’s lives in an integrated way, including Associació Casal Infantil La Mina, Associació de Familiars de Malalts Mentals del Barcelonès Nord, Centre de Serveis Campedró, Il·lusions Solidàries, Fundació Llars Compartides and Projecte Pizzicants.
In 2014, the Músiques Sensibles cycle won the popular vote award given by Totmusicat to the Best Festival or Cycle of the season.
