The tenth and final Setba Jove art exhibition

This show features new talent and the work of some of the artists who exhibited in earlier editions.

Like the songs say everything must end and nothing lasts forever. The Setba Foundation has decided that the Setba Jove exhibition, which can be seen at their headquarters until 15 September, will be the collective's last. The reason: the new course that the foundation is taking, which places more weight on art-driven social projects. This last edition will be the tenth edition of an exhibition devoted to artists under 30 years of age.

To commemorate those 10 years and put an end to the exhibition, Setba Jove 2017 will bring together the work of a number of artists who exhibited in previous editions, together with that of a dozen new artists who were selected in an open competition that attracted a total of 65 entries. Repeating artists are Miquel Samitier, Anna Livia Dörr, Santos Román, Mirella Hänninen, Sonia Toneu, Kika Moragues, Javier Corso, Adrián Espinós and Maria Coma, while the debutees are Laia Albert, Maria Campañá, Olga Martínez Faus, Alsira Monforte, Alan Piris, Virginia Rota, Anne Cécile Surga, Gerard Torres, Bruna Valls and Laura Van Severen.

This year, like in every edition since 2008, the exhibition is an excellent opportunity to check out the work of up-and-coming talent working in different creative fields. Setba Jove is supported by Col·lecció Bassat and Colección olorVISUAL.
