The Fiesta del Cine returns

On the 27th, 28th and 29th of October the majority of Barcelona’s cinemas will once again take part in the film festival, Fiesta del Cine, an indispensable date for film buffs, with tickets to many cinemas priced at just 2.90 euros. The objective of the festival, which takes place twice a year and is now in its 7th edition, is to encourage cinema attendance among the general public.

In order to take part in the event, users are required to register here and request accreditation, which will then allow them to purchase tickets at the reduced price of 2.90 euros. One of the novelties of recent editions of the Fiesta del Cine is the possibility of purchasing tickets at the box office, in ATMs or via internet by visiting the respective websites of participating cinemas.

These participating cinemas include those of the Balaña Group, Yelmo Cines Icària, Méliès, Renoir Floridablanca, Lauren Universitat, Maldà, Comedia and all cinemas in the Cinesa Group. In addition this year, Beefeater In-Edit, the film festival for musical documentaries, has also joined the promotion.

Debut films to be screened on the 27th, 28th and 29th of October include Two Days, One Night, The Judge, Coherence and Dracula, the Story Never Told, all of which complete the programme of current films such as Escobar: Paradise Lost, Magical Girl, Marshland, El Niño and Boyhood, among many others.
