'Los sin nombre' (Jaume Balagueró)

The best fantastic films at Poble Espanyol

The Sitges Film Festival is bringing its Fantastic Film Nights to Barcelona in August.

The Catalonia International Fantastic Film Festival, which takes place in Sitges every October, is the biggest film event in the country. Over the course of a few days, hundreds of films are screened in the horror, science fiction and fantasy genres. As a pre-taste for what awaits us in the autumn, the festival is coming to Barcelona over the summer in the shape of five outdoor film sessions featuring the best fantasy movies in Fantastic Film Nights at Poble Espanyol.

The screenings will take place every Wednesday in August, beginning on the first day of the month with 'Los sin nombre' by Jaume Balagueró. One week later, on the 8th, we will have the opportunity to catch 'The Autopsy of Jane Doe' by André Øvredal, followed, on the 15th, by 'The Invitation' by Karyn Kusama. On August 22 we can see the film Train to Busan by Yeon Sang-ho. The cycle will end on Wednesday 29 August, with Mamoru Hosada's 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time'. All the films will be screened in their original languages and subtitled in Spanish.

Tickets, which cost €7, are available at the following link.
