iN MUSEU: exclusive free tours of restricted areas in museums

On 2 December, eleven museums in Barcelona will be taking part in the first iN MUSEU and will be offering tours of the collections, reserves, restoration workshops and other normally restricted areas under the guidance of the technicians who work there.

On 2 December, iN MUSEU will let you discover the restricted areas of eleven exhibition spaces in Barcelona free of charge. The centres will be offering guided tours of their collections and reserves, the store rooms and the restoration workshops. But you do need to book beforehand.

On Monday 20 November, registration opens to take part in the guided tours. Bookings can be made on the iN MUSEU website or in person at the Tiquet Rambles offices at Palau de la Virreina (la Rambla, 99), every day from 10 am to 8.30 pm.

The eleven museums and centres taking part in iN MUSEU and that can be visited free of charge are:

- Museu d’Història de Barcelona (MUHBA)

- MUHBA Collections Centre

- El Born CCM

- Reial Monestir de Santa Maria de Pedralbes

- Museu Frederic Marès

- Barcelona Design Museum

- Museu Etnològic de Barcelona

- Museum of World Cultures

- Castell de Montjuïc

- Nature Laboratory. Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona

- Museu de la Música
