Scottish music at CaixaForum

The afternoon of day Sunday 13 sees a performance by the award-winning Scottish contemporary folk band Breabach.

Barcelona’s Caixaforum is offering an excellent opportunity to enjoy a traditional Scottish evening with a performance, starting at 7pm on Sunday 13 January, by the award-winning Scottish contemporary folk band Breabach who have recently released Frenzy of the Meeting, the sixth album in their career.

The band is made up of Megan Henderson (Fiddle, Vocals), James Lindsay (Double Bass, Vocals), Calum MacCrimmon (Bagpipes, Whistle, Bouzouki, Vocals), James Duncan Mackenzie (Bagpipes, Flute, Whistle) and Ewan Robertson (Guitar, Vocals, Cajon). They aim to convey the essence of traditional Scottish music but with a firm commitment to contemporary styles.
