El Percebeiro

Eight scenic arts companies share their creative processes at Sala Beckett

They will be offering fragments from their work on 17 and 18 December

For the last three years Sala Beckett has staged a cycle that focuses on scenic arts companies and their creative processes. The cycle Croquis_BCN this year takes the form of a presentation, on 17 and 18 December, by each company of a fragment of their work that makes up their creative process. In this way, these creators compare their points of view with those of the audience, a factor that helps them to improve and correct certain aspects of their creative processes.

As well as these presentations, the aim of this event is to open up a debate: after each performance there will be a talk with the public with the aim of sharing points of view of pieces presented. The overarching objective is to create a spontaneous atmosphere of complicity that ends up influencing the work performed.

The third edition of the Croquis projects featurs the following works:  Palmyra by Nasi Voutsas and Bertrand Lesca (England); Un nou inici by The Amateurs; Projecte ’92 by Col·lectiu LasHuecas and El Percebeiro by David Menéndez on Saturday 17 December. The following day sees performances of Carnage by Collectif Champ Libre (France), El meu nom és Hor by the Psirc company; Drink my milk by the Georgette and Miss Wolf Company, and Elefant terrible by Roger Torns and Eric Balbàs.
