Discover the winners of II Contest Escolab: ”I have an idea!”

We already have the names of the winners Escolab "I HAVE AN IDEA! Think of the future you want."

The Escolab competition invites students from secondary school and training courses to discover the world of research and innovation. Young people are increasingly aware of the importance of the speed with which everything changes. Innovation is everywhere, and research and technology have a very important role today. Escolab wants to help build the foundation for future discoveries in various fields.

This year the jury evaluated all proposals received, taking into account criteria of originality in approach and realization of the idea, the degree of innovation, argument and approach of the proposal, its usefulness, ethical criteria and social importance of the issue proposed. The jury of the contest Escolab II was composed of members of the Department of Education of the City of Barcelona. The resolution gave the winners announced last May 20, in the magnificent setting of the Biomedical Research Park of Barcelona.

The winners were:

The prize in the 1st and 2nd of ESO went to Luz Alcantara Moreno of Montclar School. And an Honorable Mention to Judith Sandiumenge Torres of Montclar School.

The prize in the 3rd, 4th ESO and CYCLE TRAINING MIDDLE went to Laia Massana Castro of the School Project . And an Honorable Mention to Naiana Camilleri Joshi, of the School Project.

The award in the category BACHELOR AND HIGHER EDUCATIONAL CYCLE went to Màrius Carreté Bures from Sant Josep Teresianes de Gràcia School.

It was also awarded too the Professor Oscar Besumbes from Sant Josep Teresianes de Gràcia School to encourage participation of the greatest number of students.
