"Dimecres", up until the 16th of June in the Sala Beckett

The play is a representation of the complexity of romantic relationships that employs a technique known as randomness

Dimecres, which can be seen in the Sala Beckett up until the 16th of June, is a surprising and multifaceted play in which a man in his thirties from Mallorca (Xesco Pintó) interacts in 21 scenes with 21 different women who form part of his past, present and future and are all played by the same actress, Anna Berenguer. The relationships, some of which are real, others imaginary and others dreamt, require the use of the same stage to represent different countries, cities and locations through the technique of repetition.

The play is a production of the LAminimAL Teatre Sistèmic and employs a technique known as randomness. The author, Aina Tur, has based her play on the SMR project (Repetitive Minimalist System) of Jose Sanchis Sinisterra, representing different scenes according to an established set of guidelines. The sound spaces created serve as a background for the more-or-less romantic life of the protagonist.

Directed by Daniela de Vecchi, Dimecres is an adventurous stage project which, after a number of set-backs, has finally come to fruition thanks to the complicity of the Sala Beckett.

The audience takes part in the play at all times, choosing the 21 scenes at random.
