Delafé y las Flores Azules in the Sala Apolo

The Barcelona band will revisit their career trajectory on the 4th of April as part of the programme for the Festival del Mil·lenni

Oscar D’Aniello and Helena Miquel, alias Delafé y las Flores Azules, bring the intensity of their live performances to Barcelona’s Sala Apolo on the 4th of April. During the concert, which is part of the programme for the 15th edition of the Festival del Mil·lenni, the band from Barcelona will review stages of their career with their customary identifying characteristics: radiant melodies, down-to-earth poetry and danceable rhythms.

In addition, the live performance is an opportunity to celebrate ten years of hits by a band which initially included Marc Barrachina (Facto) but which was later reduced to the two current members. The repertoire will include such popular hits as “Mar el poder del mar”, “Enero en la playa”, “El indio”, “Espíritu Santo” o “Río por no llorar”, as well as songs from their latest release, De ti sin mí / De mí sin ti.

The latest recording by Delafé y los Flores Azules reflects a more analogue, organic style and leaves behind the electronic sequencing so common to their earlier works. The band has reverted to a more intimate, personal tone, with lyrics dealing with the concepts of love, loss and pain.
