The DAU festival will host the first edition of the World Championship of the game "Guerra de Mitos"
The DAU, organized by the ICUB has become the benchmark for fans of this worldwide popular card game of strategy
Among the many activities organized by the DAU festival, one of the most attractive ones is the first "Guerra de Mitos" World Championship, a strategy card game for two or more players set in a fantasy world where different mythologies struggle to get power or consign the enemy to oblivion. The last edition of DAU already held the Spanish Championship, but this time fans of the popular game wanted to go one step further. The event will feature the creator of the game, Pak Gallego. So far 128 players are already registered.
"Guerra de Mitos" is a dynamic game designed to build different fighting strategies with a single stack. Each player needs to build a deck of 51 cards of their choice (with one pantheon, 20 gods and 30 divine intentions). Each stack increases the diversity of characters, actions and strategies to achieve victory. The first day of the festival, the 12th of December, DAU has prepared separate tournaments for those who want to spend the whole weekend playing. Sunday, December 13th, marks the two player tournament, there are exclusive gifts "Myths at War" gifts for each participant. Registrations can be submitted on the same day at the festival or before through this Facebook.
