Despite having released only two albums, British band Crystal Fighters have become one of the icons on the international indie scene. They’re regulars at the major festivals and, more importantly, have consolidated an extensive fan base. They’re now on tour promoting their thrird album Everything Is My Family, and are scheduled to call in at Barcelona’s Sant Jordi Club on 7 September.
The new album comes on the heels of Cave Rave which catapulted them to fame back in 2013. The new release carries traces of the tribal style that the band first exhibited on their debut album Star of Love. Fans can expect all of the hallmarks of their live shows: a high adrenalin performance and a festival-style pop ritual in which fun is guaranteed. Fans are sure to love this type of large format concert, as are newcomers to the band.
And Crystal Fighters aren’t the only attraction: El Guincho, an electronic music outfit with tropical touches led by Canary Islander Pablo Díaz-Reixa are set to open proceedings at 8pm, with headliners Star of Love scheduled to appear at 9.30pm.
