The Cruïlla Festival: now in autumn too

From 12 to 31 October, this popular summer festival is holding an autumn edition featuring concerts at the Hivernacle in Poble Espanyol.

The Cruïlla Festival has now consolidated its position as one of Barcelona's favourite summer music events, taking an honourable third place behind Primaver Sound and Sonar. This success may be what has motivated its organisers to expand their activities into the autumn with Cruïlla de Tardor: a cycle of six concerts shceduled to take place from 12 to 31 October at the Hivernacle in Poble Espanyol.

The action is set to start with a concert by blues-rock and folk veterans Seasick Steve on 12 October. The other artists on the bill are primitive rock band Los Mambo Jambo (who will open for Seasick Steve), Lori Meyers from Murcia on 20 October, singer-songwriter Ramon Mirabet on 21 October, Itaca Band on 27 October and electronic sould producer Gramatik, who will bring the cycle to its conclusion on 31 October.
