Turó de la Rovira-MUHBA

The Conquest of the Hills: an itinerary exploring the growth of the city

The itinerary is organised by the City History Museum and will take place on 3 August

From Turó de la Rovira to Vallcarca, by way of Park Güell. That is the itinerary proposed by the Barcelona History Museum ( Museu d'Història de Barcelona MUHBA) for Wedensday 3 August. The route, which is titled La conquesta dels turons (The Conquest of the Hills) aims to explore the growth of Barcelona into that area, which affords some exceptional views of the city. The visit is scheduled to begin at 7pm and will last some two and a half hours.

The itinerary includes admission to the MUHBA-Turó de la Rovira, a newly conditioned museum space that served as an air raid shelter during the Spanish Civil War.

The itinerary will be in Catalan language and is free, though pre-inscription is required, either by email at reservesmuhba@bcn.cat or by phone on 93 256 21 22.
